Leaving & Deleting an Org
Leaving an org (members)
Any member can leave an org at any time from their profile page.
Go to your profile
Click your avatar or name in the sidebar and go to Settings → Profile.
Find Team Memberships
Scroll to the Team Memberships section. It lists all orgs you belong to (where you are not the owner).
Click Leave
Click Leave next to the org. You’ll be removed immediately and your workspace will switch back to personal.
When you leave:
- You lose access to the org’s shared workspace, deals, documents, and contacts
- Your personal workspace and personal subscription are unaffected
- The org owner’s seat count decreases, reducing their next invoice
You cannot leave an org you own. To step away from an org you created, you must delete it (see below) or transfer ownership (contact support).
Deleting an org (owners only)
Deleting an org is permanent and cannot be undone. It removes all org data and cancels the Team subscription.
Go to Org Settings
Navigate to Settings → Organization while in the org workspace.
Scroll to Danger Zone
At the bottom of the page, you’ll find the Danger Zone section (visible to owners only).
Confirm the deletion
Type your org’s exact name into the confirmation field to enable the Delete button.
Click Delete Organization
Your Team subscription is cancelled immediately (prorated credit applied), all members lose access, and the org and all its data are permanently deleted.
What gets deleted
- The organization record and all settings
- All org members’ membership records
- All pending invites
- All deals, documents, contacts, and pipeline data that belong to the org
- The Team Stripe subscription (cancelled with proration)
What is NOT affected
- Each member’s personal Realastat account
- Each member’s personal workspace data (their personal deals, documents, contacts)
- Each member’s personal Pro subscription (if they have one)
This action is irreversible. All org data (deals, documents, contacts, pipeline) is permanently deleted. There is no recovery path. Export anything you need before proceeding.
After deletion
The org owner’s account is downgraded to their personal plan. If they had a personal Pro subscription before creating the org, it remains active.
