Claude / MCP IntegrationOverview

Claude / MCP Integration

Realastat exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets Claude, or any MCP-compatible AI client, read and write your real estate data using natural language.

In this section:

What is MCP?

Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external tools and data sources. Instead of copy-pasting data into a chat window, you give Claude a direct, secure connection to Realastat and it can read, search, and update your deals in real time.

What you can do with the integration

Once connected, you can talk to Claude like a deal analyst who has live access to your data:

  • “Summarize all deals in the Offer Sent stage”
  • “What’s the average cap rate on deals I analyzed this month?”
  • “Add a contact for John Smith at 555-1234, seller of the Oak Ave deal”
  • “Move the 123 Main St deal to Under Contract”
  • “Pull up the rent roll for the Oak Ave deal”
  • “Set a follow-up on the seller at 456 Oak Ave for next Monday”
  • “What’s my buy box currently set to?”

The MCP integration uses your Realastat account credentials. It can only see and modify data that your account has access to (personal workspace or org workspace, depending on how you authenticate).

Authentication

The MCP server uses OAuth 2.1 for authentication. When you connect Claude to Realastat, you’ll be redirected to authorize the connection through your Realastat account. No API keys to copy-paste.
