Billing & Seats
Realastat uses a dual-billing model: personal subscriptions and org (Team) subscriptions are completely independent of each other.
Two separate subscriptions

These coexist independently. Joining an org does not cancel your personal Pro plan. Leaving an org does not affect your personal plan.
Example
Sarah has a personal Pro plan ($19/mo). Her firm invites her to their Team org. She can now switch between her personal workspace (covered by her Pro plan) and the firm’s org workspace (covered by the firm owner’s Team plan). Both subscriptions run simultaneously; the firm pays for her team access, she pays for her personal access.
How Team seats work
The Team plan is per-seat: you pay for each active member in your org.
- When you invite someone and they accept, a seat is added automatically
- When you remove a member, the seat is removed and your next invoice reflects the change
- Pending (unaccepted) invites do not count as seats
Seat cost
Team seats are $25/user/month. The org owner always counts as one seat.

Analysis quota in org workspace
When you run an analysis in the org workspace, it counts against the org owner’s Team plan quota, not your personal quota. This means:
- All team members share one pool of analyses (set by the Team plan limit)
- The owner can see remaining analyses in their billing dashboard
- Personal analyses (run in personal workspace) still count against your own personal plan quota
The org owner’s Team quota resets on the first of each month, just like personal plan quotas.
Upgrading the org
Only the org owner can upgrade the Team plan or change seat count. Go to Settings → Billing while in the org workspace.
What happens if the owner downgrades
If the owner cancels the Team subscription (by deleting the org or manually downgrading):
- All org members lose access to the org workspace
- Their personal workspaces and personal subscriptions are unaffected
- The org and all its data are removed (if the org is deleted)
